10 Paddlers joined Jo and Linda Winner on a paddle in the Nanaimo Harbour. The weather was sunny but at times breezy. They started at the Brechin Point Boat Launch at Departure Bay
and headed south on the channel between Newcastle Island and Nanaimo.
They saw some amazing sights in the sandstone cliffs on Newcastle Island.
For lunch they stopped at the Provincial Park beach on Newcastle Island.
In the afternoon they crossed the channel towards Nanaimo
and explored the busy harbour before returning to the Brechin Point Boat Launch.
