Important points regarding the schedule:

·        The 2024 paddling season will begin with a Meet and Greet Paddle

and Lunch at Westwood Lake in Nanaimo. The launching site

(Westwood Lake Park) has an easy launching area and lots of area to

meet and have Hot Dogs following the paddle.

 

·        There are trips scheduled every Tuesday starting in May. This will

provide for consistency with the schedule and members will know that

there is a trip planned every week. We also tried to schedule a variety

of trips (easy lake, easy ocean and more advanced ocean trips)

 throughout the schedule.

 

·        Some of the trip locations are repeated on other dates. This is due

to the popularity of these paddles and will allow for some variation

of routes from those locations.

 

·        There are some trips where the Trip Leader is not listed. We are

hoping that members who feel comfortable leading or co-leading

trips will step forward to lead these trips. Please email us if you are

interested in getting involved as a Trip Leader.

 

·        If there is no confirmed Trip Leader two weeks before a scheduled

trip, this trip will be cancelled.
