We enjoyed a beautiful sunny calm day on Great Central Lake. We paddled along the south shoreline from the boat ramp and crossed the lake to the north shoreline after 0.5 km. We went up the river to the hydro dam and then followed the shoreline around Boot lagoon. Some people saw over a 100 crayfish in one spot, and we found salmon in Boot Lagoon. We had lunch on a gravel beach in Boot Lagoon that offered us a wooden bench.
The other highlight for me was having some people willing to stop for a coffee on the way home. Let's do it again next year.
